UK property auctions, October 2026.
Complete month. Last updated 31 Oct 2026.
Correction, 23 Oct 2026: earlier versions of this page counted non-property sales (machinery, vehicles, livestock, antiques and similar) as property auction dates. They have been removed, so the auction-date figures are lower.
A further 41 confirmed auction dates are due later in October 2026.
Lots offered by region, October 2026
Region comes from each lot’s postcode area. A postcode area that crosses a border is counted where most of it lies.
Top auction houses by lots offered, October 2026
Lots in catalogues we read. Houses whose catalogues we don’t read are not in this chart.
Lots by property type, October 2026
301 lots have no type recorded (our feed did not record type before 18 October 2026).
Property type as worked out from the catalogue description.
Lots by lower guide price, October 2026
Lower guide price as published by the auction house. A guide is not a valuation or a sale price.

Results published in catalogues
Only 18 auction houses mark lots as sold, withdrawn or postponed in the catalogues we read, and not always. These are counts, not a sale rate.

What this report can and can’t tell you
- Lots are a minimum. We count every lot seen in our catalogue feed on 9 Oct, 18 Oct, 19 Oct, 20 Oct, 21 Oct, 22 Oct, 23 Oct, 24 Oct, 28 Oct, 29 Oct, 30 Oct, 31 Oct. A lot listed and sold between those days is missed, so the true number is higher.
- Auction dates are confirmed dates in the AuctionBrain register (checked against each auctioneer’s own site), counted once per auction house per day. Non-property sales (machinery, vehicles, livestock, antiques and similar) are left out.
- No sale rate yet. We record the results auction houses print in their catalogues from October 2026, but no auction this month meets our rule for a sale rate: the whole catalogue seen before the sale and again after it, with results printed.
- No sold prices or guide-versus-sale figures. The catalogues we read don’t publish sold prices, so we don’t either.
- Coverage. Lot figures cover only the auction houses whose catalogues we read, not every UK auction. See how we verify dates.
