Who we are
AuctionBrain is operated by Bridgematch Ltd, the data controller for the information below. Contact us at hello@bridgematch.co.uk.
Email reminders, alerts and the newsletter
If you sign up for emails we store your email address, which emails you chose (auction reminders and alerts, the newsletter, or both), the regions and sales you asked about, and how many days before a sale you want a reminder.
We rely on your consent. Both boxes start unticked, and nothing is sent until you click the link in our confirmation email. We keep a record of what you agreed to, when, the wording you saw, and a one-way hash of the IP address and the browser description used, so we can show that consent was given.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link and a “Manage your alerts” link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
Who processes it
Subscriber records are stored in our Supabase database. Emails are sent through Resend. Both act on our instructions. Some processing may take place outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We do not sell or share your address with auctioneers or lenders.
How long we keep it
Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted about a week after their confirmation link expires. After you unsubscribe we keep only your address and the consent record so that we do not email you again and can show what happened. Ask us to delete it completely at any time.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Umami, which does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.
