Who we are

AuctionBrain (auctionbrain.co.uk) is operated by BridgeMatch Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17061771) ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for information processed through this site. For any data query, contact hello@auctionbrain.co.uk. We handle your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up on the landing page or create an account, for authentication.
• Marketing preferences — if you separately opt in to auction tips or product updates, we use your email address to send them.
• Saved-search alert details — if you are a Pro user and configure saved-search alerts, we use your email address and saved-search criteria to deliver those alerts.
• Sign-in data — if you sign in with Google or an email magic link, our authentication provider (Supabase) processes your email to create your session.
• Usage analytics — we use Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool, to count page views. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure advertising only after you explicitly accept advertising tracking; the Pixel may then set cookies or receive device and browsing information.

How we use your data

• To send you a sign-in link for the AuctionBrain tool (necessary to provide the service you requested).
• To send a short series of onboarding tips and occasional product updates by email if you separately opt in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; a success confirmation is shown only after suppression is recorded in both our database and Resend.
• To deliver saved-search alerts that you configure as a Pro user.
• To understand aggregate site use through cookie-free Umami analytics (legitimate interest).
• To measure advertising with the Meta Pixel after you accept. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU-hosted).
• Resend — email delivery.
• Railway — website hosting.
• Umami — cookie-free analytics.
• Meta — advertising measurement (Facebook Pixel), only after your tracking consent.

How long we keep it

• Account and authentication data is retained while your account is active and afterwards where legally required or needed for security.
• Marketing contact, send and suppression records are retained as needed to record your consent, deliver requested marketing, and honour unsubscribe or deletion requests.
• Saved-search criteria are retained until you delete the saved search or close your account, subject to legal and security needs.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent to marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@auctionbrain.co.uk. We'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

You can withdraw or revisit advertising consent using Change tracking choice. Declining has no effect on access to AuctionBrain.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
